Bancroft's Sea Scouts has secured recognition by the Royal Navy for another year.
The troop was inspected at Gilwell Park by Lt Commander Rod Williams. A full day started with tent pitching, followed by fire lighting and cooking lunch. The inspecting officer was able to sample some of the resulting food! Following lunch was a short session of kayaking on the bomb hole, and pioneering. The day was finished with the formal, uniformed, part of the inspection.
