Scout
Section
The
Scout section is for eleven to fifteen and a half year olds. Like all the other
sections of the group it is fully mixed. The Scouts are organised into patrols
of about eight. Each patrol is lead by a Patrol Leader (PL) and Assistant Patrol
Leader (APL). Their job is to help organise the patrol to ensure that it runs
smoothly. There is one Senior Patrol Leader whose job is to assist the Scout
Leader to run the troop. The programme is jointly decided by the Patrol Leader's
Council and the Scout Leaders.
